vehicle will start and stall after replacing clutch

after replacing clutch and flywheel the engine will start and stall. sometimes I can get it to rev up but will stall when returned to idle. dohc 2.0 l no codes in system. battery was disconnected for a few days.

something decided to quit at that time , could be pure coincidence ,sounds like the IAC valve , these things should of course be tested before buying new , timing will act like that too , was there a rough ride before the work being done ?

No car ran fine. Clutch was slipping. Its also backfiring through the intake manifold occasionally. Like a timing issue. The crank sensor looked ok when i had the flywheel off. Didnt hit it or disturb it during installation.
