truck starts but wont stay running

truck starts but wont stay running and battery burns out had to replace battery
two times found wires corrioed on a relay replaced with new one still burning
up battery

If you are saying what I think, battery over charging witch continuous will burn out a battery so to speak. The voltage regulator is what controls the draw on the alternator, if bad the alternator could charge full amperage rating. I can't remember if the regulator is in the alternator or separate on yours. If there is a amp gage in your dash it will show charging over 14.5 volts.
