2015 Musty AC Vent Odor

I have the same problem with the foul order coming from the air vents. I have a 2016 Nissan Rpgue. I hate to let people ride in my car are step up to my car because the smell is embarrassing. Nissan changed the filter but no luck the smell is still there. Have anyone foynd a solution to this airvent order that Nissan cars are putting off.

I ran the heat all winter long & it did not seem to return. I have a strong immune system so Mold & decaying of outside dirt mold does not bother me. I have learned to leave the AC button alone when you press the auto button for heat or air. If the AC button comes on in the winter we are supposed to leave it on. It is an automatic system.

I have the same problem with my 2014 Nissan. I changed the cabin air filter, and no change. I brought it to the dealership and they said they couldn't replicate the smell! It's only for the first minute or so when the car starts and the a/c comes on, but it's gross and embarrassing!
