My Ford Explorer 2016

Asked by Kelly May 21, 2019 at 05:19 PM about the 2016 Ford Explorer Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Explorer A/C does not come out as cold as it used to come out. I have a
Ford Edge that will freeze you out but this Explorer was repaired with a new
compressor last summer and still the same half cold problem. Any ideas what
could cause this?

Check the refrigerant level. If OK, determine what refrigerant type was used. A 2016 should not need a new compressor but since yours did, they should have used R-134.
