Suggestion on Tires for 2016 Mazda CX5
I need to replace tires on my 2016 Mazda CX5. I haven't been impressed with
the tires that were on the car that I purchased new from the dealer. They are
noisy and the ride isn't as smooth as I think it could be. Does anyone have a
recommended replacement tire they could suggest?

I love my General Altimax RT43 all seasons. Except they should be changed to winter tires even w all-wheel drive (AWD). In fact, FWD is proven safest in winter driving with winter tires. Check Consumer Reports and tirerack.com for excellent, detaired reviews. FYI, AWD does NOT help braking or prevent dangerous slippage in winter, only boosts traction forward on ice/snow. Helps acceleration on dry and wet, too. It's always best to go with a professional outfitter like Tirerack, that tests extensively, not a chain tire store, which must sell you a safe, correct fit--but likely with best PROFIT for them in your price range. Consumer Reports rates tires for quality and performance. Tire rack organizes tires only by make, model, trim and correct size. You can't get wrong sizes unless you buy different size wheels. After extensive research I'l get an all-season like Goodyear WeatherReady (Three Peaks Severe Winter), very highly rated overall, on ice and snow as well as dry pavement, but not best on wet. If buying all seasons for summer, spring and fall, but winter tires for coldest months, I'll get Michelin CrossClimate2 and for winter, Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 or Michelin Ice-X.
