Mazda cx5

Asked by GuruT42CW Aug 16, 2019 at 02:01 PM about the 2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD

Question type: General

Is used 2017 mazda cx 5 with < 35000 miles a good car? Is it true that the automatic transmissions do not hold up well over time? Also does it need more frequent oil changes?

I might buy this car if the price were right. Automatics can last a long time if you take good care of them but most people neglect to change the fluid. You should have a mechanic give it an inspection before buying,

How frequently does the automatics need fluid changes? If I may ask, what would be a good price for a used mazda cx 5 2017 with 30000 miles? Should one prefer a used 2016 honda crv (the one before the recent changes) as compared to mazda cx5. Thank you very much

Use kbb.com to check out prices. I would change the fluid every 30,000 miles. Maybe more often if you live where it is really hot and you do a lot of stop and go driving.
