Wrong ATF put in my 9-speed MDX 2016 - just drain and re-fill with the right one?

My wife took her 2016 Acura MDX to an Indie shop for ATF change, and they
put in the regular ATF fluid (Penzoil Platinum LVM/A03Q) which says not for
the MDX. Acura says it should be "Acura 3.1 or higher"
How bad is it? What should I do? Just have it drained and replaced with the
Acura 3.1?

How many quarts of oil are needed for a flush? My car takes 8 quarts and the shop wants to use 10 quarts for the flush because the ATF fluid is so expensive ($50/qt). I thought the flush would require at least double???
Need to flush it 4 times with honda ATF, order on Amazon for cheaper price, but only use honda ATF, fill, run until hot (15 min) drain, fill again, but watch the dip stick...check fluid levels with car NOT running, do not over fill
Dealership will say you 5qrt because they need extra money ..the actual capacity is 3.5 qrt dont fill over.. ATF3.1 fluid ..buy the fluid and just pay the labor charge outside Around 40-60$$$
I took my 2016 Acura MDX into a full service shop for a normal drain and fill using the ATF3.1 fluid but the tech used Valvoline CVT fluid #804751. CVT fluid is in no way near anything like regular trans fluid esp. ATF3.1. I'm thinking the trans may need rebuilt or at the minimum valve body and clutches replaced which isn't far from a complete replacement or rebuild. I'm not sure how to handle this this issue and what needs to be done?
I would have your local Acura dealer "deal" with it and make the shop pay for whatever Acura charges.
