2016 Fiat 500x brakes making whooshing sound

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a brand new fiat 500x a few days ago.
Just took it for an inspection sticker and while
diving home noticed when I was braking that it
made a faint "whooshing" sound. Almost metallic
sounding if that makes sense. The sound reminds
me of when you brake after it rains really hard and
you pump your brakes. I'm so paranoid about this
car because it's our first new car. Can someone
please explain??

That noise id the confirmation that you bought a FIAT. Don't worry fiat will not charge you for extras. I lived a long time with Fiat cars, I am from Europe. :)

The dealership I bought it at is in another state an hour away. Do you think it's serious enough to take it in? Literally just bought it 4 days ago. I'm paranoid because my father who's a snap-on dealer / car guy told me fiats are horrible cars and I don't want to prove him right!! Lol...

I can take it to any Chrysler/dodge/ram/jeep dealership. I just am terrified that they will tell me something is wrong. I usually take my car to my fathers customers as they are more trusted. Ugh..
