Lincoln MKZ goes thru tires in 11k miles.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Is it really true the MKZ goes thru tires very fast. My service advisor at Lincoln
told me it was. I called Michelin and they agreed to pay 70% which was great
but the tires should have lasted 45000 or more for a 75 year old driver don't you
think???

Our original Michelin tires on my wife's 2014 V6 AWD MKZ lasted almost 30,000 miles. I replaced them with Cooper Ultra Touring tires and they are wearing great with around 7,000 miles on them. They should be rotated at every oil change.
Every 20000 miles expect to buy new tires for your mkz Only downside I’ve experienced but kind of takes away any saving you make on gas tried the best Michelin then went to continental save a bit on purchase price and got the same bad mikes out of them. I’m afraid to buy another MKZ

The Michelin tires on my 2018 lasted 18 thousand miles. Replaced with Pirelli tires which lasted 21 thousand miles. Just replaced with Yokohama. Warranties have covered bulk of replacement cost, which I appreciate, but the ridiculous wear and tear is frustrating. Regular rotation does not even seem to help. The car is great! The tire situation is insane.
