Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My question is I own a 1993 GMC
Safari with a 4.3 L V6 once the
van is up to operating temperature
I turn my heat on it'll blow hot for
about 2 minutes and then it gets
cold again why is it and what can I
do to fix it

It could be the blend door under the dash not moving to the heat position or a plugged heater core. When you move the temp lever from cold to hot can you hear the door move under the dash, I've never had much luck flushing heater cores and end up replacing them.
