On a 350 small block with muncie transmission is it normal for the entire hood and side fenders to get really hot after driving it a while is that normal

when I was driving my 69 Camaro has a 350 small block drove it for about an hour long wondering if its normal for the entire hood/ side fenders to get really hot ?

Would this make hood and side fenders hot super hot or is my car over heating and I'm not aware of it

Ok header wrap I'll look it to that too again man I really appreciate all the help and the time your taking to answer

Do you have a temperature gauge? What does it say? Headers give off a huge amount of heat which is a common problem.

I can't recommend one over another. Read reviews if you can.

what do you recommend on transmission fluid my buddy said i shouldn't put transmission fluid but gear oil instead for manual transmission.

and by chance do you know where i would add it to last night i was looking everywhere deff no transmission dip stick. and could find plug to where i need to add gear oil.
