Propulsion Power Reduced

Asked by Shepler1 Nov 03, 2019 at 10:21 AM about the 2016 Chevrolet Volt LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When my Volt’s fuel engine kicks on, I receive
a message stating ‘Propulsion Power
Reduced’ after driving on fuel for a while. I’ve
seen posts stating it is a software issue or
could there be other issues causing power
lost?

1 Answer

Guessing that the engine starts because the battery is drained. Try a EV forum to talk to other electric car owners.
