Overheating

My 2001 V6 Mustang runs fine when im driving but
when i come to a complete stop it starts
overheating but when i start driving it climbs back
to the normal temperature and stay their i already
switched the heater pipe cause it had a leak,
bought a new radiator cap and just installed a new
thermostat and it keeps doing it. Any ideas of what
it could be? Please i need the car by Monday

Start the car up and let it run at an idle and see when the fans kick on or if they do.. if they do not kick on start looking for fuses maybe direct wire the fans to see if they even work hope this helps

F_O_R it seems like your pretty knowledgeable about this stuff so I have a question and was wondering if you could maybe help answer it for me. My daughter took her car to mechanic and they told her the fan was bad and need to be replaced what am I looking at as far as Parts cuz I'm thinking fan motor but not exactly sure she has a 2001 ford mustang v6 3.8 any input
