Asked by GuruDG9SB Dec 07, 2022 at 08:33 PM about the 2016 Honda Pilot Touring AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2016 Honda Pilot.  Shortly after I got that vehicle in December 2016,
I got a message showing 'Collision Mitigation System Problem.'  Over the
years, that message came on 4 times; the first 2 times within the first 2 or 3
years.  The last 2 times was, one about 3 weeks ago; the dealer reset it
Friday, December 2, 2022, and again today, December 7, 2022.

Does anyone have any information about this?

Dealer clears the message; says message could be caused by dash cam and/or toll transponders. Suggested to turn the system off.
