I do not have an answer, bit I have the exact same problem recently with my 2013 GMC. Did you ever get an answer?

While the engine is off insert the key into the ignition and turn it forward once, not turning on the engine, then all the way back and again forward 3 times. After this turn on your vehicle and it should work. I literally just did this now and it worked so I hope this helps you all.

Go back to your list and hit your voice command button which will say enter command, wait for tone. Say device list, select and hit delete. I had the exact same problem you did and this deleted all items one at a time until all were gone. Then you can add new phone

I tried all the above but to no avail; so I decided to pull the rear camera chip and reinsert it. This allowed me to delete and pair new devices without it freezing... Definitely worth a shot to try!

Just tried what Marcos suggested (turning key into ignition a few times" and then starting the car. I was able to delete the other devices and re-add my iPod.

On the menu screen go to configuration, radio settings, scroll al the way to the bottom to software versions menu. Then select clear and reset radio. Worked for me!!

I am having the same issue, I have tried all of these options other than pulling the rear camera chip as I have no idea how to do that. Did any of these work for you? Marcos when I turn the key forward once, is the radio suppose to come on or am I perhaps turning the key to far?

I pulled the fuses for both the radio and the main centre console. I then put the fuses back, started the car, and was able to delete the previous owners devices. I could then sync my own device. Fuse locations found on owners manual.

Marcos tip to turn the ignition on and off 3 times (not actually starting the car) worked! Thank you!

Okay I'm back-two years later and out of nowhere, none of my devices were able to pair with my 2015 Terrain. I tried what I did before (Marcos advice) and for some reason-it didn't work this time. THEN-I tried something else. I did the following steps: Configuration>Radio Settings> Software Versions Menu> Update Radio Software-you will then be prompted to insert your usb. I inserted my iPod touch in the usb which was plugged into the USB port and then GMS popped up on my iPod touch and I was able to pair. I did the same thing with my actual iPhone and it worked. Hope this helps someone!

Just want to add that I tried resetting the radio settings and that also didn't work but mysteriously-the above (Software update menu) worked!

Hello all, I just got my issue with pairing my cell phone resolved after a month. I contacted GMC twice and today I was transferred to technical support. I was not able to delete phones from my Device List either. I explain to her what was going on. The technical support lady was doing some things on her end so, she had me open my car door for 2 minutes and remove the key from the ignition. She told me to power down my cell phone and power it back on and that she would call me back in 2 minutes. When she calls back. She said to close the door and turn the vehicle back on. When I turned the vehicle back on. I went to the device list and selected Config- Phone Settings-Device List-Delete-select device to delete and yes and I was able to delete the other devices in the list. Next, there was a message on my vehicle dashboard that required me to begin pairing my cell phone with the vehicle confirmation number, and once the pairing started it finally Bluetooth to my vehicle. If you have a GMC Terrain, you can contact GMC Support and asks for technical team support. I finally got a lady that was able to help me resolve my problem. I don't remember her name, but I am thankful for her assistance.
