Re-stock exhaust

Asked by GuruTZNV6 Jun 12, 2018 at 07:53 PM about the 2016 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe RWD

Question type: Car Customization

So I recently purchased a 2016 Mustang V6 from a
private seller. The car is perfect, except for the
exhaust system. The previous owner recently put
on the Borla ATAK axel back and in my opinion it
sounds like crap. I drove a V6 with stock exhaust
and the car sounds so much better and ballsy
coming from the engine, this exhaust just
overwhelms the ballsy sound coming from the
motor. Anyway, luckly the ownder did save the
original exhaust. They seem to have been cut
around the curve portion. So is it possible to
actually re-mount the stock exhaust back on?

1 Answer

Have a muffler shop reinstall the old exhaust. They can weld up the cut.
