It's in warranty why would you want to fiddle with it yourself? The dealer will use the vin to check for any known issues or production changes that affect your vehicle and have access to other noise/suspension diagnostic equipment to locate and repair any malfunctioning parts. With a specific noise like yours it would be best to schedule an appointment with them to have the tech or shop foreman ride with you so that you can make the noise happen with them in the car. Techs drive all kinds of cars daily for a lot of different reasons and may not be able to duplicate the exact conditions that you know will make the noise happen.
Lol yeah that true.. I got a little nervous about my baby.. It's been only 2weeks lol
I understand, I do everything but internal engine and trans at a Ford dealer. In a case like yours most of us would request that you were with us on the test drive so that it wouldn't be like going to the dentist and the tooth stop hurting as soon as you walk through the door. After any warranty repair is performed you (the customer) will get a survey emailed to you to judge us on a lot of things from how clean was the service drive to was it fixed right. These surveys are how the management decides who is doing a good or bad job in the service department and if we deserve raises or the boot.
