Whats the going on with this problem

I have a 2016 Equinox and couple of days ago I lost alot of
oil. My dadh bosrd said oil presdure stop engine.  The car
smelled like gas in side my car. It was shacking back and
for.  Check the dip stick came out bone dry.  Put in more oil
to check and see if I lost more oil. Came out bone dry
again.
I haven't driven in . Or turn on the engine.  Am I looking at
$5000.00 to fix.

I am having a problem with my 2015 Equinox stalling during takeoff and when going into reverse. And now it’s doing this while driving any time it wants to! And the ‘check engine’ light comes on intermittently. I had AutoZone test the car. Within 5 seconds they had an answer! The trouble was these codes: P0010, P0011 & P0011. In other words, the problem was with the Position Actuator Circuit or Engine Variable Timing Solenoid Intake. Auto Zone has the part at just $43. Questions: Has anybody else had this trouble? Walter, my Jack Rascal, bounced up and down on top of my cargo cover and before I could get to him he had pulled most of the end out of the roller.
