outback battery problems

Asked by larry Jul 24, 2019 at 05:32 PM about the 2016 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

since I replaced my oem battery with a 1000 cranking amp battery I have
had no problem. I just returned from a 7 day vacation and my 2016 started
right up. Now I even leave it with the Auto lights engaged. I even went to the
dealer to look at the new Ascent and the battery was dead right on the
dealership show room floor. He had to hook up his huge charger to get it to
work. He commented that this was "normal" for all new cars. " BS"
