how long does the battery last?

Question type: General

If I park my car in a garage, with the engine shut down and all the instruments
powered off, how long will the battery be still good enough to start the engine?
One month? Three months? The battery is as old as the car is.

Use a battery tender if you are waiting more than a month or just be safe and use one anyway. Cars vary in the amount of power they use when not running.
