Just wanted to know if car was covered.........
Long story short before my uncle got diagnosed with Ms he
maintained car every scheduled and no scheduled
maintenance he babied the Sportage. Since diagnosis I
started taking him to Dr and running errands. Started to
notice car was wandering. Pulling to left \right feeling as I was
on mountain road type terrian .. considering I have extreme
anxiety and panic attacks I notice every detail with everything I
do so naturally I felt the shift in condition of the car ..called
customer service and they times to see if it was covered by
'lifetime warranty' or factory warranty... Couldn't get straight
answer.. couple months now and car is much worse I'm
literally terrified to drive it... One day went to the dealer where
it was bought... As the service tech to plz look. He rolled his
eyes and said I'm sure it's nothing. He agreed to drive around
block to see what I was referring to proceeded to tell me he's
driven hundreds of cars and knows how they drive under
normal circumstances.. once we turned right, u could feel the
car buckle as the shaft\axle was damaged I quickly as if he
felt and desite the look of concern on his face he quickly
responded. No it feels normal to me... We got back he stated I
had nothing to worry about and to attribute it to road
conditions. I proceeded to remind him that I was scared for my
safety and he shrugged it and said well we can't do repair here
as this location is permanently closing. Closest to u is
Glendale 20miles away umm. Since then called customer
service 8times emailed 3 left various voicemails regarding the
safety concern and with a total of one month of no response. I
finally get one with a offer..TO BUY OR TRADE IN??? REALLY
KIA ?? NO SUPPORT BUT SALES PITCH. SO Total of 2 months
car hardly drives as I feel I may crash with the wobble so bad
and after 20 attempts to find out if warranty covers I get 6
sales responses. Unprofessional and cleary not a care for their
customers.. finally emailed Corp. Accidentally sent to wrong
executive who responded saying the email was forwarded to
consumer whatever ... I'm devastated as I have no way to take
uncle to Dr or get groceries angry that none has answered me
and disgusted at the lack of care or concern bout their
customers saftey does anyone know if
suspension\shocks\alingnment is covered and possible some
insight on what I can/should do .. I'm at a loss. Thanks
