2016 Ford focus hatchback.

So we were driving. We were at a light made a
complete stop... light went green. I hit 80 kms and
heard a pop noise. And the car died down.. the
dash went black but stayed at what I was driving at
and the gas that was in there. It wasn't the
battery... my car is an automatic.  The only thing
that was different is that we started using the A/C.
Anyone else with the same sort of problem and
found a solution???
