Cargurus is an advertising site only. Similar to
Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc. The seller,
whether it's a Dealer or private person, makes their
own advertisements, and sets their own price.
Cargurus has nothing to do with any of that. My
advice is to report the Dealer to your local Office of
Consumer Affairs and move on. You don't want to
buy from a Dealer who engages in unethical
practices. By the time you drag them through the
legal system the vehicle will be sold anyhow.
Reporting them to Consumer Affairs will get the job
