i purchased a used 2016 bmw 750i xdrive and it has the 750i logo on the back; however the VIN states it's a 750Li. How do I determine which model I have?

The VIN number would be what I would use to determine the actual model. You could call a BMW dealership's service department and give them the VIN number and they could tell you for sure.
