Having charging issues on my 2005 stratus

I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus that has 164000 miles
on it great car all in all. But there is one minor
problem I've been having and that is the battery
light is staying on meaning the alternator isn't
being able to send the signal to charge the battery.
Well it runs and drives everything works but as
you're driving it will slowly lose power shortly after
it being started and the radio in the air will switch
on back and forth and then my gauges will go
crazy and the car will slowly shut down and die on
me I've changed the alternator three times the
battery twice there is voltage going in to the
alternator everything but not coming out of I'm
really not sure what else could be the problem
somebody could help me if he greatly appreciated

Take the striped wire going to the alternator and splice into it and run your own wire to a grounding point and should turn alternator on to start charging

In my case, my 2003 Stratus car, towards the same ones you mention, turned out to be the ASD relay, so I changed it and everything was fine, it charges correctly. Hope this works in your car, P.S. The asd relay is number 36 in the fuse box under the hood.
