Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a bad upper ball joint but do not know if I can replace it with out replacing
the upper arm assembly. Does anyone know if these come permanently
pressed together as one piece or are they replaceable individually?

Thanks for the input. Do you know if they should be replaced in pairs? Upper and lower pairs. In other words, should I do both front uppers at the same time or Should I replace both upper and lower at the same time, or only replace what is needed after inspecting each one?
