If the check engine light stays on for a few days, I would take the car to any auto parts store to have the code read. This way you can find out the problem. As a matter of fact, I would do it even if the check engine light is off; codes are still store in the computer's memory.

It might be in your alignment of your tires and it might have offset camber from loose bolts or from your tire rod being bent.
