Should I try to remove my front seats to clean around them?

Asked by Jeanine Dec 07, 2014 at 02:41 PM about the 2005 Honda Accord EX V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I want to clean in between the seats
in the front of my car but I can't do a
thorough job while the seats are
there. Should I risk trying to remove
them just to clean? I have power
seating and seat warmers so I'm
worried about messing those things
up. But it seriously needs to be
cleaned and I haven't found a
vaccuum that can get in those little
crevices, plus, I'd be worried to
vacuum without seeing what I'm
sucking up just in case by some
miracle my bracelet or diamond
earring or any other small valuables
I've lost might be hidden there. Any
opinions? I live in Los angeles so
maybe if there's anywhere I can take
it to have someone else remove the
seats that would work if it doesn't
cost too much.

You forgot the part about the rear bolts being covered. I'm looking for an answer to remove them to get to the bolts!
