If you're talking about the cigarette lighter style power outlet there's a tool for that. You'll need to remove the trim where the outlet is. Unplug the wires from the back of the outlet. Then unscrew the inner and outer parts of the outlet from each other. That's where the tool comes in handy. Once you get the inner and outer parts of the outlet separated you can remove the old outlet and install the new one. Hope that helps! Jim

Just be careful and remove the fuse before changing the outlet. It will be "hot" when working on it unless you do.
