Can I put a 2016 Honda Civic engine and 6
speed manual tranny into a 2005 Honda Civic

I have no idea what I can “legally” or less costly do to swap this engine. I have someone selling me 2016 Honda Civic lx motor for 900 bucks with tranny engine only has 2,000 miles on it. I have my 2005 Honda Civic at home no motor I’ve just never done a swap so I have no idea if the car would be too different in generations to not be compatible.
