That just does not sound right. Sounds like a tire or alignment problem. Depending on what your miles are, it could be wheel bearings. I would have a mechanic look at it.
I have the same problem on my '05 Honda Element. It usually is under light exceleration and when I let off the gas (no pull) it stops and I go on my way. I have had it at the dealer and they siad I needed new tires. I purchased new tires and had them aligned and balanced. I still get the vibration around 40 to 45 mph.
I have an 04 Element and have the same problem. Dealer talked me in to new tires. Now I am out $750 and still have the same problem. Mine occurs at 44 mph and 48 mph . Has anyone found the actual issue? Thanks
I found a link for you to the Honda owners' site. Answers included transmission fluid needing to be changed, tire balancing and even a brake issue. Check them out, hope this helps. http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61161
