Engine stalls.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Has 73000 km on the meter. Car starts and idles beautifully. When AC is
switched the rpm does not go up.
If accelrater is pressed rpm goes up but on lifting the foot the rpm drops and
goes down to about 200 without halting at slow running rpm and engine
stalls. In running mode whenever brake is applied or stopped at traffic light
the engine stalls. Changed battery, checked and cleaned throttle body etc. No
improvement. Could vacuum leak be culprit? How to check leaks? Any help
will be much appreciated.

I have fixed it. This problem comes up invariably as a disturbed the setting of TBS. and or ACV. In my case I found that TBS was misaligned and ACV had become a bit sticky. Ire-adjusted the setting of TBS and put the ACV through successive cleaning processes. It took me time and reactivated my back problem but the car is back running fine. For further details on setting of TBS please read the relevant literature.
