Humming noise while driving

While I'm driving their is a humming noise.. Was told it could be my fuel pump, but gas is flowing fine. I haven't had my AWD drive transfer case fluid drained and replaced, could it be that?

Tire noise is a common cause of hum. I doubt it is the fuel pump.
I had the same issue on my 07 cts when the rear wheel hub assemblies go they make the oddest hum so annoying. One of mine went at around 70000. I replaced both rear wheel hub assemblies right away since if one goes the other side is not far behind. Use moog or timken if you dont want to replace them again. I have 118000 now and still driving smoothly.
I am having this issue, as well. It almost sounds like it's stuck in 1st gear although not quite as high pitched. Like a plane taking off. I thought the noise was coming from an 18 wheeler beside me, then realized it was me!! There are no other issues when driving, but the sound is unsettling enough that it's parked until my appt. 100k miles. Just had all 4 tires & oil replaced. I have an appointment at dealership. But that's not for 2 days. Hoping to see more answers here.
i THOUGHT WHEN YOU JACK UP THE CAR AN CANT MOVE THE TIRE AS IF THE LUGS WHERE LOOSE THE HUB ASSEMBLY IS OK I REPLACED THE FRONT AN IT WAS AS IF THE LUGS WERE LOOSE
I have a humming sound while driving my 2013 XTS Cadillac and I was wondering where its coming from.
You have had a hub bearing failure. You need a hub assembly. I have had it done twice now on two different wheels and cost me about $400 each time. Was told it could be dangerous if not fixed and wheel could lock up while driving.
