idle RPM's vary

At idle the RPM's vary from around 700 to 1500/2000...and the engine will die occasionally. I recently replaced coil, plugs, fuel filter and a couple of vacuum lines. Before I replaced those it would idle rough and the check engine light was on...codes were for lean condition on both banks (V6 engine).

Clean throttle body and clean or replace (IAC) Idle Air Control valve or Mass Air Flow Sensor depending on which one your vehicle has.

yes.... also dirty fuel injector... add a bottle of ZMAX fuel treatment to a half tank of gas...
