See funny thing is a year ago my truck was crashed In the same darn spot as the bearing damage , the auto shop that fixed it is saying I caused it to damage because there was dirt and a storm , I don't believe that and I feel like they didn't tighten the bearing right and that's how mud and water got inside , because it's so funny that the other parts are totally fine but the part that they fixed is messed up , it's a new 2016 Tacoma , Toyota finds it rare to hear this case and alit of other people and the auto shop finds it different to just blame me

There not wanting to take the blame , there blaming it on me ! If it was another part that it got the bearing then I understand but it's exactly where they hit me , now I'm talking to the insurance but the guy is now trying to help me by getting the parts thru Toyota and the warranty on them it sounds fishy to me why is he going above and beyond to get them if it's "suposly" my fault , I don't like the fact that he's calling Toyota and not saying why the bearing is really damaged I'm a person who likes honesty and this sounds suspicious , I don't want to pay 1,400 for something I did not do

Don't pay anything call the BAR they will help you and the BAR will let you know if it's your fault or the installation or parts are defected, I think the mechanic installed the part wrong but I can't say for sure but if I was in your shoes I would call the BAR good luck.
