where is the oil filter for 2016 Chevy Malibu?

That did not answer my question - where (the location) is the oil filter for 2016 Malibu (new design)? The old model has oil filter on top.

@T_S_T are you sure this is for 2016 new Malibu? It looks like the old model.

If it is not up top under cap,it will be under back side of engine near oil pan.

The oil filter on the 2.5L 4-cylinder Ecotec is on the front of the motor and it uses a spin-on oil filter. You don't know what you are talking about....
