I checked the battery cables/connection and there is no corrosion and seems to be tightened good. Its almost like thers a short somewhere or something. What should I try?

Have your starter and alternator checked. An auto parts store can do that usually for free.

Wouldn't hurt to have a look at this 100 amp main. Click for full screen Under hood PDC Make sure it's seated well and no corrosion. Just a guess but a no-cost look.But that grinding is another matter...could be starter gear or flywheel if it's a loud grinding. Hi, My 2005 Honda Accord has died twice in the last week for no reason. Last Monday while going to leave work it wouldn't start and I didn't leave anything on, I had a colleague jump it (battery is only 4 months old by the way) and was able to drive normally until yesterday when I got in my car and again it wouldn't start.
