Blinking check engine light not good. Damage could be caused to cat convertor if you continue driving it. Check all wire harnesses in the area that the work was done. Look for loose, unhooked wire harnesses or possibly burnt wires(on exhaust manifold)
the hose that was replaced is correctly installed the hose was cracked under the distributor??
Did car overheat due to the heater hose breaking?
it was hot i pulled over let the car cool down and filled reserve with coolant i made it home and after replacing hose it did not over heat
First I would double check all wire harnesses in the immediate area of where the hose was leaking and replaced. Check for potential water in connectors and loose/unhooked connectors.
ok i was thinking of replacing distributor cap and rotor as well
If in USA go to auto zone and borrow (deposit required) one of their code readers. Read the codes this will help guide you in the right direction.
http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/ -- use this to find possible causes and solutions for the codes you get.
also seen on your other posted question about the distributor. Did it get sprayed with water? If so remove the cap and dry cap (inside and out) and rotor off real good. If it got water inside it that's probably your issue. Drying it out should get you back going.
Water inside cap will cause p0300,p0301, ect. Codes. Miss fire codes.
Cool I know wat to look for
yea the codes were miss fire codes i took off the cap to let it dry should be good by tomorrow
