Problems with honda

Okay. I have a honda civic ex 2000 it not getting
fire. It was working fine Saturday went to town and
ran around came home turned it off for about 30
min. Ran in side came back out and it started up
fine put it in drive hit the gas went about 2 inches
and died and it won't start again. What is wrong
with it?

No codes showing? That's strange. Goto large auto store that rents analyzer to pull codes first, store will tell u wat they mean. Maybe start with camshaft or camshaft position sensors. Call an auto store and c if ur car has both, it should.

I had a similar problem in my 1999 Honda Accord. 2 things could be wrong. Your ignition switch going bad. (Located under your steering wheel, inside the dash). Or your catolytic converters are getting too hot. And sending exhaust back into your head. And suffocating your engine and making your exhaust pressure too high to run. Do you smell gas or loose power the hotter the car gets?
