the dashboard lights on my honda are very dim I removed the speedometer to
try and replace them but i cant find the bulbs on the speedometer panel

The knob in the center of the dash light box adjusts the brightness. They don't go dim if the bulbs are bad, they either work or they don't. Try pushing the knob in and turning it to adjust brightness of dash lights.
