We have a vehicle that fan is blowing but little to nothing seems to be blowing out so the vehicle is not getting warm.

Asked by GuruZV9PP Jan 07, 2018 at 09:06 AM about the 2003 Honda Civic LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have already replaced the heater core, resistor and thermostat. While we can hear the fan blowing and it seems to be stuck at the high level no matter which speed we choose, little to nothing is coming out. It is a warm temperature for the little that you can feel but in Illinois this will not be enough to defrost the windows. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated as we are a single income family and cannot afford a new car.

Also, a Honda mechanic indicated that it might be the heater sub assembly however, this appears to not actually have any mechanical component so I cannot fathom how that is the issue if there is no physical damage to the assembly?
