how often change oil honda 2016 crv AWD SE

Asked by dwight Sep 19, 2020 at 03:59 PM about the 2016 Honda CR-V SE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Unless I'm blind, the manual doesnt seem to say; I guess because the CRV
has an indicator to remind you when to change?

Ive read it also depends what type of oil; I have no clue if it's synthetic or not.
I bought it off a Honda dealership and it's CPO if that helps. Is there a way to
find out?

I also don't drive it that often, maybe 6000 miles a year.  I also live in
Toronto, Canda whose climate is perhaps comparable to New
York/Buffalo/Chicago.

If you only drive 6000 mile a year, then I would change it yearly and use what is recommend, which is synthetic and 0W20 weight.

Twice a year is better when you live in a harsh climate.
