A/c problems

I have a Nissan Rogue 2016 and when it hot
outside the AC doesn't throw cold air, but when it's
at night the A/C works Perfectly don't understand
what the problems is can anyone help I live in
Imperial Valley County,  CA where it gets about 120
degrees in the summer lol

I would check the refrigerant level. I think it is low.
