Replaced my battery in my 2016 Nissan Rogue and now the heat doesn't work

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had my battery replaced in my 2016 Rogue this morning and now the
heat doesn't work at all. Heat worked fine before getting it replaced but when
I left the shop, I cranked the heat and nothing but icy air came blasting out
over my 30 minute drive to work. The really weird thing is that when I
switched it to the windshield defrost setting, it was still blowing from the dash
and floor vents. I'm thinking this must be a computer issue. Any ideas?

The day before I was scheduled to bring it in to the shop, I was playing around with the controls. Just for the hell of it, I turned the temperature all the way to cold, let it sit there for a second, then turned it all the way to hot again. Lo and behold! I have heat and all the controls are functioning as normal! That was a couple weeks ago and it’s still working fine. Does this mean I’m an auto mechanic now?

No but you can have a certificate in thinking outside the box. A lot of times that is how you find a problem with a car. So your title will be The New Newbie Apprentice of Boxes. I have a opening for a muffler bearing/blinker fluid changer at my shop. If you are interested in a job respond here then ill let you know how to get the job.
