Car battery is off 6/10 of 1% on the voltage is that a problem?

Asked by 1976Phillyman Mar 13, 2021 at 10:24 PM about the 2016 Ford Taurus Limited AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A month ago when starting car monitor message stated no key detected when
in fact key fob was in car. Last week car will not start, revived message,
“System off to save battery.  Please turn off ignition or start the engine”.
Jumped the battery and drove car. Next morning, dead car. Jumped it again &
drove to car part store & they checked battery. Was told battery is 6/10ths of
1% on voltage. Is a new battery needed? Will that fix my Taurus, System off to
save battery...
