I am planning to buy honda accord 2002 with 92000 mile.
I drove the car and the condition is very good .The owner has not changed timing belt and i heard lot of bad news about 2002 honda accord transmission . Shall i procceed to buy this.Should i change timing belt immediately , i am worried about transmission problem.

Honda's aren't like they used to be. I had a 2000 accord, and had to fix the transmission $2000. Three years later it started to slip again. The timing belt, will be $500-600. If taken to the dealership. My opinion, stay away. Toyota, and Nissan are better cars.Take care!
whatttttt a honda hater! Usually they are praised to be not from this world but made by the gods and sent to earth to be the best, the only vehicle to own. I dont work on them and I dont like working on them. I would go toyota rather than nissan according to monish.
With the age and the mileage on this car, you're setting yourself up for some problems. Definitely avoid this one...save up more $$ and get a newer one with less miles!
I need a car for only 14 months from now , and i am going to drive only 6000 miles almost for these 14 months , so i cannot afford much . Can i go for a honda showroom pre inspection check for this car before i buy this??

Timing belt should and must be changed around 105,000 miles. No later. Could blow the engine.
