What does it mean when Toyota says there is a 100,000 mile warranty? I am single female so no smart remarks about question. Does this mean I woulnd't have to purchase extended warranty?

It's an extended mechanical breakdown warranty, usually with a deductible, typically $100 per covered repair. Notice I said"repairs", these don't cover routine maintenance. Length of time varies on the time or mileage whichever comes first. We will run out of time before mileage. We have Mercury insurance for this and they are quite good. No problems.
We had one covered repair, honestly, Toyota is so good you may want to skip it.
I am just guessing that this RAV4 is a used certified preowned vehicle being purchased at a Toyoto dealership??? The following is from the Toyota website regarding certified preowned vehicles...... We also add a 1-year 24-hour Roadside Assistance Plan [4] (from original date of TCUV purchase).
