My 2002 civic was running fine when it all the sudden almost dies and now it won't go over 5-7 mph....

Clogged manifold or catalytic converter. Had one do the same thing. Check this while engine is running open hood a look exhaust manifold it will start to turn cherry red if its clogged if not look at catalytic converter it will also turn cherry red if it is clogged.
