Honda Civic engine is losing power
Hi everybody, I need advice on how to fix
my Honda Civic 2002. It has been giving
me a hard time for nearly over a month.
Around 40 days ago, my car suddenly lost
power and the temperature sign went all
the way up while i was driving. Then I
figured the coolant was over. I put enough
coolant in radiotar. After couple of hours,
as the engine cooled down, the car started
working fine. But the day after that, it
started overheating when the car was in
idle at ttraffic signals and the temperature
would go back to normal after i started
driving. I took it to many mechanics. They
changed thermostat, fan system, and they
couldn't find out any problem. They told
me that the only possible reason of the
engine overheating at that point was head
gasket. I tried blue devil sealent. The next
day I drove the car 7 hours and I got stuck
in traffic jam for 10 minutes. Then the
engine again lost power and as I kept
driving it overheated. Now that has
become the habit of my car. Every time I
drive my 2-3 days, at some point it loses
power and starts overheating. I need help
and any suggestions. The last mechanic I
talked to told me the reason for engine
losing power can be catalic converter for
90 percent likelihood
