I have a 2002 honda passport OK it when I put it in
drive it goes and when I put it in reverse it goes as
well but in drive it wont shift out of 1st gear can
anyone help me out here any suggestions it just
happen no type of sign to let me know the
transmission was going out it just started all of a
sudden

I have similar problem. I replaced the two solenoids 1-2 3-4, and 2-3 shift solenoids but it did not fix the problem. There are plenty of this type model in the junkyard. Good luck. I will let you know when I fixed mine.

We have 98 passport doing exact same thing spedo not working also , we replaced silinoids in tranny worked for minute then went back to same.
